What is Emie C. ?

            Whether you want a garment for a special event or just to enjoy yourselves, Emie C., ladies, is here to bring your ideas to life !

            Passionate by making clothing in its entirety, I give free rein to my creativity. I like drawing new clothes as much as sewing them. And I think we all agree to say it is nice to wear a unique piece of clothing, one we have fully chosen.

            Because it isn't what I had in mind, because it doesn't fit me properly, because everybody already wears it... I've decided to create my own clothes and to offer the same opportunity to others.

            Moreover, to take part in such a project will give you a glimpse of manufacturing a garment from beginning to end ; a true experience that I am glad to share.

            In addition, I attach great value to my creations' quality and to the materials I use. My couture experience has instilled in me a taste for well done work. As a matter of fact, I have already worked, through subcontractors, on Haute Couture models from famous fashion houses such as Christian Dior, Chloé, Hermès, John Galliano...

            As you might expect, it takes time before a garment ends up in your wardrobe. Here is a brief outline of how I proceed with my creations :

• First meeting in order to take note of your ideas. Bringing pictures always helps to understand your wishes.

• Presentation of my suggestions, including sketches, and discussion until the project's approval.

• Manufacture of prototype in toile, customer's fitting and measurements' adjustment.

• Garment fitting in the chosen fabric and finalization of the model.

• Your outfit is now ready to be worn...
